Because we work directly with school districts, we recognize the sensitive nature of student information and strictly adhere to applicable laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

What Data We Access

  • Sustainable Schooling does not collect, store, or maintain student data on our own systems.

  • When working with partner school districts, we may access student information only through the district’s existing systems and platforms, using district-issued logins and credentials.

  • Any data we view or use remains within the district’s network and systems.

How Data Is Used

  • We use student data only for the purpose of providing contracted educational and operational support services to the school district.

  • We do not sell, share, or use student data for marketing, research, or any purpose outside of the agreed services.

User Consent

  • Sustainable Schooling acts as a service provider to school districts. Any access to student information is governed by agreements with the district, and parental/guardian consent is obtained through district processes in compliance with FERPA and COPPA.

Public Commitment to Privacy

  • We are committed to supporting districts in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of student information.

  • Our team members receive guidance on data privacy requirements and follow district protocols at all times.
