About Sustainable Schooling

At Sustainable Schooling, we believe in building lasting partnerships with schools and educational organizations to create innovative, sustainable solutions that drive student success. Founded by L. Wayles Wilson, our organization was built on the principle that schools thrive when they have the right strategies, capacity, and tools to address their unique challenges. With expertise in enrollment management, strategic planning, grant funding, staffing solutions, and a comprehensive view of student education, we work alongside school leaders and administrators to optimize operations and maximize impact.

L. Wayles Wilson, our founder, brings over 20 years of experience in education nonprofits, K-12 school operations, and strategic leadership. With a background in talent acquisition, professional development, school finance, and project management, she has led major initiatives that have strengthened schools and expanded opportunities for students. Her experience spans roles such as Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer for Camden City School District, as well as consulting work with TNTP, where she advised on staffing and leadership development across multiple districts.
